All Illinois State University students, U-High students, faculty/staff, and retirees are eligible to open a Redbird Account. It is entrusted to each student, faculty, and staff member while enrolled or employed by the University. The Redbird Card is used for identification, State employee discounts, vending, copiers, microfiche, laser printers, and admittance to University buildings, computer labs, and events.

The Redbird Card Office will be closed Tuesday January 16th due to the University Closure.
Due to forecasted wind chills Tuesday, Illinois State University and the University Laboratory Schools will be closed, reopening Wednesday. All classes (in-person, hybrid, and online) are canceled Tuesday and will not be delivered remotely. Residence halls and residential dining centers will remain open. All other campus buildings will be closed.
Welcome back Redbirds! You will be seeing some familiar faces this year as well as some new ones. We welcomed two new student workers to our staff this summer, Cody & Allison. We also have a new full-time staff member who started at our office on the first day of Fall move-in, Hayley. Hayley will be at our front desk to help with ID issuance, Redbird Dollars deposits, & assist with issues or questions relating to the ID or just campus in general!
