Celebrating our retirees was awesome! Nurse:Paula Birsa, Administrative Assistant Linda Bach, Custodian Lowell Correll, and Social Studies teacher, Deanna Wiist.

Last weekend your Wildcat tennis team placed 3rd as a team in the BIG 12 conference tournament. This is the highest Normal West has finished in conference in school history! In the past five seasons, we have finished 8th, 6th, 6th, 4th, and now 3rd.

Even more exciting, today we had our 1 doubles team, Dane Schlipmann and Ben Angelov-Ritter, beat United Township (6-0, 6-1) and then Normal Community (6-2, 6-3) to become STATE QUALIFIERS!!

This is our first state qualifier since 2017 and only the 7th in school history.

They will compete in the sectional semifinals tomorrow and then compete at the state tournament Thursday of next week.
