Happy Birthday Morningstar UMC

We will be celebrating 34 years of Morningstar on Sunday, June 7. Please join us for birthday cake, fellowship, and a special opportunity to give back to our community.

As a birthday gift to our neighbors, we will be collecting donations throughout the month of June to create Birthday Cake Kits for Home Sweet Home. These kits help families in need celebrate their loved ones' special days.

You can donate individual items or provide everything needed for a complete kit. We are collecting the following:

- Boxes of cake mix (any variety except angel food)
- Cans of lemon-lime soda
- Cans of frosting
- Birthday candles
- Rectangular foil pans

This book discussion will be at Normal First UMC 211 N. School Street Normal. All are welcome to attend and participate!

This story is a piercing exploration of our ongoing failure to provide justice for the victims and testament to their families and communities unwavering determination to find it.
This book is on the UWF reading list and there is a copy in the Church Library. Check local libraries for other copies. However, please attend if you have read the book or not.
