All the President's Men is a political thriller based on the true story of how two Washington Post reporters uncovered the Watergate scandal. Journalists Bob Woodward (Robert Redford) and Carl Bernstein (Dustin Hoffman) investigate a 1972 break-in at the Democratic National Committee headquarters in the Watergate complex. As they follow leads, verify sources, and rely on confidential informants, they piece together evidence that ultimately contributes to President Nixon’s resignation. PG / 138 min.

WGLT Partners with Normal Theater for their 1A Film Series. In celebration of WGLT’s 60th anniversary, the station will host a series for the community featuring a few all-time great movies highlighting the importance of a free press. WGLT selected films exploring themes including who controls the news, how large investigations come together, and how newsrooms respond to political pressures. Plus, meet members of the WGLT newsroom before the movie and ask your news questions.

Blanche (Barbara Harris), a less than reputable psychic, and her equally shady boyfriend, George (Bruce Dern), are hired by an elderly lady to find her nephew Arthur (William Devane), who had been given up for adoption as a boy. With little information to go on, the pair track down the now-adult man in San Francisco. Arthur has had a colorful past, including murder and thievery with girlfriend Fran (Karen Black). So when he discovers he is being trailed, he assumes it's for other reasons. PG / 120 min.
