For anyone wondering what "Zombie Prom" is about, think "Grease," but instead of winning the drag race, Danny Zuko crashes into a nuclear facility & comes back to school as an irradiated zombie.
"Zombie Prom" a lot of fun, with a great original rock 'n' roll score. While audiences are laughing at some very clever satire, the show also asks some great questions about who gets to decide who "belongs."
Auditions are April 10-12, and anyone currently in Grades 8-12 can sign up at https://www.normalil.gov/summertheatre
Anyone interested in joining the pit band or the crew can sign up at that same link, which also includes info on "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee," though that one has significantly less zombies in it.
