What a great way to wrap up the school year!

On the last day of school, Chief Steve Petrilli and Officer Evans had the honor of visiting Chiddix Junior High at the request of a graduating 8th-grade student. The special visit became even more memorable as Officers and staff from several local law enforcement agencies joined together to help celebrate this milestone.

We are grateful for the opportunity to connect with students and be a positive part of their school experience. Congratulations to all of the graduates as they prepare for the next chapter of their educational journey!

As another school year comes to a close, the Normal Police Department wishes all students, families, teachers, and staff a fun, relaxing, and most importantly, safe summer. We look forward to seeing everyone back in the fall!

A huge THANK YOU to our incredible community for supporting our Dunkin’ Cop on a Rooftop event benefiting the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Illinois! 🍩☕💙

This year, our Officers had the opportunity to deliver donuts to several amazing local businesses that donated to the cause. We especially want to recognize U of I Community Credit Union for their generous $100 donation toward this year’s event!

Your support helps make a direct impact for Special Olympics athletes across Illinois, and we truly appreciate everyone who stopped by, donated, or helped spread the word. Community support like this is what makes Normal such a special place.
