Illinois State University Choirs

Recently, ISU’s School of Music hosted the annual Madrigal Festival where high school groups from all over Illinois had the opportunity to showcase some of their music to each other! 🍂They also were able to work with our own faculty, Dr. Bruhn, Dr. Fredstrom, and Dr. Grizzard! We were also able to give these madrigals a sneak peak into our set for our upcoming Music For the Holidays’ performance—be on the lookout for more information regarding that👀—with Concert Choir performing The Music of Stillness by Elaine Hagenberg! 🎶❄️

We are almost there to concert day! 👀🌟 We’re so excited to share another sneak peek featuring Treble Choir rehearsing “Sing, my Child” by Sarah Quartel 🎶 Their set will be featuring songs about image and identity, including Billie Eilish’s “What Was I Made For?” from the Barbie Movie, along with a premiere performance of Dr. Grizzard’s Latin-language, youtube-inspired composition “Admire Et Subscribe(Like and Subscribe).”
