Story time: with a broken foot over the holidays I tried to stay in good spirits about my birthday trip. joined me in Richmond to listen to the living legend
Last year I struggled with finding my spark for photography but this lecture helped reignite it in a divine way. After he finished speaking I noticed I didn't have anything for him to sign. Reaching in my wallet for a piece of paper I grabbed a dollar. Jamel kindly but hesitantly said "it won't be worth anything." To me it meant nothing BEFORE he signed it. Now it sits framed in my art collection as a reminder to invest in yourself.

Celebrating the last Sunday of this year with gratitude! I remember having buyers remorse when I bought my first "real" camera during the pandemic. At almost every photoshoot I thought at least once "what if this is all I can do?". Now I'm currently exhibiting at one of my favorite museums amongst the community that inspired me to silence those thoughts.
