First Time without My Mother…

Tonight will mark the first time I’ve performed a show I created called, Date Night, at the Push since my momma died. This was my mother’s favorite show that I created and performed in. She would come to every month until the pandemic era. She would always call me after and ask how it went.

Last month I left her bedside on May 2nd to perform in it and after I was done I went back to her deathbed and talked to her about how funny it was. She wasn’t really responding then but I told her all about it. I stayed up with her the entire night after. She died the next Mawnin.

So tonight I will be performing this for the first time without my momma and for some reason I feel very vulnerable. Anyway I am performing this tonight with the very talented Rachel Gary and tickets are on sale now.

I will be thinking of my momma and I am going to try to find the laughs again. I hope you can make it and tickets are on sale now for tonight at 8pm. Comedy sketch book with Zach Davis and Sydney Plackett is afterwards which is always hilarious.
