An urgent note from Nebraska Family Alliance:

SUBMIT COMMENTS IN OPPOSITION TO LB 1161 by Friday morning at 8am! Link here and instructions below: https://nebraskalegislature.gov/bills/view_bill.php?DocumentID=62935&sm_guid=OTMwNDcwfDgwNDU5NTg1fC0xfEJBRmV6eml3aWdAZ21haWwuY29tfDg0NjczMDN8fDB8MHwyOTgwNjU3NjF8MTA3MHwwfDB8fDkyNzk1Mnww0

Abortion ends an innocent human life, leaving lasting impacts on families. LB 1161 is a pro-abortion bill that legalizes abortion without parental consent for minors, stripping safeguards to protect unborn children and young women in dangerous situations.

This bill is scheduled for a hearing on Friday, January 30, and you can help stop this harmful legislation in committee by submitting a comment to the Nebraska Legislature in opposition to LB 1161.
LB 1161: No Parental Consent for Abortion

Parents are the primary protectors of their children. Yet, this bill cuts parents out entirely of critical moments when their guidance, care, and protection are most needed, placing expectant teenage girls in the hands of the abortion industry.
Allows pregnant minors to undergo risky abortion procedures alone without the consent or knowledge of a parent or guardian, undermining Nebraska’s existing protections.
Exposes underage women to potential coercion, abuse, human trafficking, and exploitation by isolating them from their families.
Advances a pro-abortion, ideologically-driven agenda that preys on vulnerable women in crisis for a profit.
