their community. We wanted to inspire local photographers — both amateur and professional — to go out and document the good things that happen every day in their neighborhoods. We created a photo gallery for these pictures and a place to compose a mosaic about remarkable people we call neighbors. The gallery on ShootForGood.org and the photos we will share through social media can be a gathering place for inspiration and motivation. There is a kinship between photography and volunteerism. Practitioners of both seek to reveal and correct injustices while working behind the scene with passion and conviction. Both pursue opportunities to teach and to celebrate the human spirit. Shoot For Good is a labor of love. Like you, we are volunteering our time to do something to make our community better.
