Today, Steel America was honored to welcome NAVY CAPT Kriewaldt and NAVY CAPT Levine for a visit to our fabrication facility.
During their tour, they met with our team and viewed work supporting two of the Navy's most critical programs: the Columbia-Class Ballistic Missile Submarine program and the Aircraft Carrier CVN program. They also took time to address our workforce, reinforcing the significance of the work being performed every day inside our facility.
Their message was clear: we are at war, and the work you do is critically important to our nation.
They reminded our workforce that every weld, every fit-up, and every quality check directly supports the men and women serving at sea. Sailors are able to execute their missions with confidence because they trust the ships built by America's industrial base.
Not everyone serving our nation wears camouflage. Some, like you, wear steel-toe boots and hard hats.
As Steel America continues to grow its role in supporting our nation's defense, including CLB, CVN, DDG, and VCS programs, we remain focused on delivering quality products that strengthen our nation's security and help ensure the ships our Navy needs are on patrol, on time.
