U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) announcement of the new Healthcare Advisory Committee is an important signal for healthcare policy priorities in 2026.

With a focus on reducing administrative burden, improving real-time data use, enhancing care for vulnerable populations, and strengthening Medicare Advantage sustainability, the Committee reflects many of the operational and policy issues that shape CMS programs and the work ARDX supports.

As federal healthcare programs continue to evolve, it will be important to watch how these recommendations inform future program administration, oversight, modernization, and support for the people and communities these programs serve.
