“Working for the Weekend” has become our motto, we are a couple who loves to travel and camp, navigating our way through the ins and outs of everything outdoors and camping related with a little DIY thrown in the mix.

Photos from Runaway Roses's post 05/16/2026

Last week we attended a Bigfoot camper gathering in Elizabethtown, KY. We had such a great time meeting new friends and seeing some of our longtime friends. It was a busy few days of visiting historic places, eating good food and just getting in some relaxation. We look forward to another meetup with this group sometime soon. If you’re a Bigfoot camper owner, you should join the Bigfoot RV Clan group. They have plans to have yearly get togethers and it’s a great group to hang with. Taylor even got a new stuffed possum from Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historical Park.

This is the third episode of viewers rigs and our reactions where we look at your (our viewers) rigs. A huge thank-you to everyone who submitted photos and videos—we truly appreciate you taking the time to share your setups with us. It’s always so inspiring to see how creative the truck camper community is, from cool storage solutions to clever off-grid upgrades. Every rig tells the owner's story and seeing how you’ve personalized your truck campers is one of the best parts of what we do.

What really stands out is the incredible variety of truck camper setups out there. Different trucks, different campers, different travel styles—but they're all built around the same idea: freedom. Truck camping is a nimble, go-anywhere way to explore, whether you’re chasing remote trails, quiet camp spots, incredible scenery or weekend getaways. It’s easy to see why more and more people are joining the —and these videos continue to be great reminders of what makes this community so special.

We hope you enjoyed the video!

RV & Fiberglass Polish | Bring the SHINE Back ✨ 02/14/2026

Can I fix our chalky camper finish without paying hundreds of dollars paying someone to do it for me?

Our truck camper looked tired and dull and honestly, it didn’t look like it had ever been polished. The fiberglass had noticeable oxidation, and it was time to see if I could bring the shine back.

In this video, I walk you through the same product and polishing method I’ve used for years on multiple RVs and boats. It’s not complicated, but it does take some effort. The good news? Doing it yourself can save you hundreds, even thousands — compared to paying a professional detailer.

This is a quick rundown of:

✨ How I remove oxidation from fiberglass
✨ The compound and tools I use
✨ The polishing process step-by-step
✨ What kind of results you can expect
✨ Why I prefer this method for long-term shine

If you’re a DIY RV owner who wants to restore your camper’s finish and protect your investment, this video is for you. The same process works great on motorhomes, travel trailers, fifth wheels, truck campers, and even boats.

There’s nothing better than stepping back and seeing your RV looking glossy and refreshed again.

We hope you enjoyed the video!
