We got our very first goose egg from our beautiful Bernadette!! It was quite the surprise when I went to go collect eggs this morning. We also got our first turkey egg of the season too! So now we have goose, turkey, duck, and chicken...just waiting on guinea to start again and we'll have everyone back to work! Because of the shocking size difference, I thought I would line them up for comparison. The chicken egg is an average size large egg for reference.

Eggs are coming! This morning I collected 5 chicken eggs and 2 duck eggs! These were the first duck eggs of the season. Yesterday I collected 4 chicken eggs. This is only a small fraction of what is to come. Even though Punxsutawney Phil may have predicted 6 more weeks of winter, spring has sprung in Southern California!

I spy some blueberries!!! Patience is finally paying off. It has taken a couple years and a transplant to get to this point. This is the first time I will hopefully be enjoying home grown blueberries! Unfortunately I may eat them all and not have any to sell! 😋💙😁 They have been growing in a wicking tub and seem to be doing well, so if this harvest goes good, maybe I can find some more mature plants and bring them to market eventually.

Last fall, customers made it clear that they wanted turkey eggs. Well, we heard you, and are happy to announce that we will finally be selling turkey eggs at our Thursday night Norco farmers market!

We'll see you all this Thursday at 3954 Old Hamner Rd. Excited to be back!
