Office Closure Notice – Monday, January 26, 2026

Due to hazardous road conditions, Christian County Offices and the Christian County Courts will be closed tomorrow, Monday, January 26, 2026.

As a result, our office will also be closed.

Please stay warm and stay safe. We will resume normal operations when the courts reopen.

Did you know our office has been a donation location for Santa's Toy Drive - CC since it first began? We have proudly provided a space for a donation box for years, and we want it full when it gets picked up. If you want to help provide gifts to children and teens in need of gifts this holiday season then we would love for you to stop by our office and drop some in the box. Our box is located right by our front door so you can get in and out quickly. Our office hours are 8:30 to 5:00.

🎄 Santa's Toy Drive - CC Needs Your Help! 🎄

We are in our 5th year of serving children all across Christian County and surrounding counties, and the need this year is extreme. Since we started this mission 4 years ago we’ve helped over 1,800 children, and we’re currently sitting at about 200 more than last year — but to be real business sponsorship's are at an all-time low.

We have many amazing businesses partnering with us by hosting donation bins. Please check the map to find the closest location to drop off a toy. We also offer multiple ways to give: Amazon Wish List, Venmo, and PayPal.

Some FUN FACTS about Santa's Toy Drive - We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, run 100% by volunteers. We may not be a big nonprofit, but we serve a big mission field. Any donation or sponsorship — big or small — truly helps. Tax receipts are available upon request.

Due to inclement weather, Harris Law, LLC will be closed today, February 12, 2025. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for our area until 9:00 PM CST, with mixed precipitation and hazardous road conditions expected. Please stay safe, and we look forward to assisting you when we reopen.

All Greene County offices, departments, and judicial courts that are open to the public will be closed on Friday, Jan. 10. due to the ongoing winter weather and road conditions. They will reopen during their normal business hours on Monday, Jan. 13.

Crews with the county's Highway Dept. are currently plowing, clearing, and treating roads and will continue the process through this afternoon.

The Greene County Commissioners will still attend today's statutorily required 2025 budget presentation and adoption at 1pm in room 212 of the county's Historic Courthouse. Citizens are welcome to attend the event in person or use the virtual option below. If attending in person, use the east door entrance of the Historic Courthouse on Robberson Ave.
