Right before Christmas, we were privileged to present a check from one of our insurance companies, Goodville Mutual Casualty Company, to New Hope Shelter. As part of their Charity of Choice campaign, we were offered the opportunity by Goodville Mutual to nominate a local non-profit for recipient of a $1000 donation. It was an easy choice for us to make since New Hope Shelter not only provides needed housing for those who find themselves in a homeless situation but also have a food pantry available. We are thankful for the compassion and care New Hope Shelter provides within the Newton community!

We are participating in the Newton Area Chamber’s annual Taste of Christmas this year. Stop by to pick up a puzzle piece. Complete at least 50% of the puzzle board and return to the Chamber office no later than Saturday, November 18th or any participating business for your chance to win some prizes. It’s a great opportunity to stop by Newton businesses to see what they offer. Obviously, we feel it is important to shop local! While in our office today and tomorrow, please feel free to help yourself to some delicious goodies!
