1-Week Or 2-Week Summer Day Program

Job Summary:

In this job, you’ll be a counselor where you work with kids who are learning public speaking and debate for the first time. You will be teaching in a pair with a co-instructor. The two of you will have your own classroom and will be teaching about 10 - 12 kids.

About Lumos

Lumos runs summer camps for middle school and highschool kids. We teach kids the basics of debate, and the kids prepare cases and research and eventually compete in a debate tournament at the end of summer camp.

Our goal is to get the kids to love debate so they will join their school’s debate teams. The most important thing is for the kids to have fun, because we want them to associate debate and fun together.
