Join the 2026 Summer Reading Bingo Challenge for Adults (18+)! Complete a bingo of 4 squares in any direction and win 1 raffle entry per bingo! Complete the whole sheet and you’ll receive 5 extra entries, for a maximum of 15 entries per person. These tickets can be used to enter our adult summer reading raffle. Prizes will be drawn at the end of the challenge and winners will be contacted.

Starting June 1 through September 4, stop by any of the service desks to pick up a paper bingo sheet, or you can download the PDF version of it on our website. When you are finished, submit your bingo sheet at the 1st floor Ask Desk or via email, and a staff member will tally up your entries.

Join the Newton Free Library as we launch our 2026 Summer Reading program for Adults with a Seed Packing Party on Saturday, June 6 at 10am! Help us prepare packets of flower seeds to add to our Seed Library, and receive an additional raffle entry that can be used in our summer reading raffle for adults.

Meet with a MassHire Career Advisor at the Newton Free Library on Wednesday, May 13 from 9:30am to 12:30pm in the Computer Lab. The MassHire Career Centers offer assistance with resume support, interview preparation, job search support and a variety of workshops, recruitment events and job fairs.
