Lovingly named by Nicolas, the African Butternut Squash is one of our favorites to grow and eat!

A friend brought Nicolas these seeds back from a trip to Africa over two decades ago, and we’ve been saving the seeds ever since. Renowned for its large crookneck size and sweet nutty flavor by local chefs and farmers alike, this has since become a favorite in the Southeast!

This years crop was a total failure except for a few squash, so what better way to savor this tiny harvest than to make soup to share with our faves 🫶
