Newberry Watermelon Pageant

This year we are including our 19-22 year old pageant during the festival. Friday, May 17th will no longer be happening, the pageant will take place Saturday, May 18th (during the festival).
The festival includes a number of local vendors (food, clothing, etc…), a parade, seed spitting contest/hog calling contest, and now the pageant. This will take place in CountryWay and we hope to see you there!

We had an excellent turnout this Saturday at our 79th Annual Newberry Watermelon Pageant. We wanted to congratulate all of the young contestants that competed!! Below is all of the 2nd and 1st runner ups, alongside the winners.

Thank you to our pageant coordinators Lisa Green and Morgan Hughes- It definitely wouldn’t be possible without these ladies.
