A Trooper was conducting a commercial vehicle inspection along I-45 when he fell through a rotten board on the deck of a semi-trailer he was inspecting. He plummeted and struck his face on the edge of the semi-trailer, resulting in numerous broken bones and requiring multiple surgeries.

We have sent this quilt to let him know we care.

June 10, 2026 - Las Vegas, Nevada
A suspect drove an SUV recklessly through an active crash scene on I-11 near the Fourth Street on-ramp in downtown Las Vegas. He then hit a tractor-trailer, refused commands to stop, then accelerated and pinned a Trooper against a parked city fire engine. He then fled the scene after pushing another vehicle out of the way.

The Trooper was taken for treatment.

We have sent this quilt to let him know we care.

On behalf of our Sgt and the entire DeKalb County Police Department, we would like to say thank you for your heartfelt kindness. The personal touch and attention given to the blanket for him really means a lot to him as he returns to patrol. Knowing that there are people like you out there who care for the emotional wellbeing of officers makes us feel appreciated and that our labor is not in vain. Again, thank you for your thoughtfulness and kind gesture.

June 8, 2026 - DeKalb County, Georgia
An Officer was responding to a call on DeKalb Industrial Way and N Decatur Road about a suspicious person near an unoccupied business. When Officers located the suspicious person, he initiated a physical confrontation.

During this confrontation the suspect stabbed an Officer. He was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital with moderate injuries but in stable condition.

A local QFC volunteer has hand delivered this quilt to let him know we care.
