Volunteers from churches, service organizations and restaurants prepare and serve lunches, typically once a month for each group. Hope Dining Room's serving mission is made possible by the generous donations of financial gifts, food and time by various religious organizations, civic groups, businesses and individuals in the greater Newark area. This fundraiser continues until 6 PM tonight. We have reached 33% of our goal. A big, big thank you to the 14 contributors so far.
Hope Dining Room Inc. has been serving a midday meal to those in need in the Greater Newark DE area for 41 years. Volunteer serving groups from faith-based organizations in the local area cook and serve the food.
Any contribution is appreciated and will be MATCHED by a benefactor up to $6000.

Both Hope Dining Room and Newark Empowerment Center will be closed on Thanksgiving weekend, so folks can go to Ogletown Baptist on Thanksgiving and to Newark United Church of Christ on Black Friday.
