S2 - Summer Serve

Miscellaneous work photos in no particular order but lots of sweat in each one!!

Summer Serve Saturday!! We worked all day at school painting and painting and painting. The Lord provided never ending paint, no rain, yummy snacks and a pretty incredible team who kept going and going and going. We can’t wait to reveal the school photos - tomorrow!!!

Summer Serve Thursday was a wonderful mix of work and play! We worked on several buildings at school scraping, painting a primer coat, as well as moving lumber and cleaning up the field. We are so in awe of just how hard our friends here work.

The new classroom is amazing! Pastor Joshua and Tito are masters of every project we do. We also had some super helpful friends of the school powerwash several buildings to prep them for us.

For play, a group got to go with several classes to cheer on a football ⚽️ team from the school. They won by the way!!

We all got wet during a rain shower that stopped just in time for VBS. We sang, danced, learned about God’s strength , played, crafted and snacked with a whole bunch of sweet kiddos, school staff, the children’s ministry team from the Sarteneja Nazarene church and anyone who wanted to stay.

The Lord is faithful and kind and gives us everything we need. We’ve experienced that in so many ways and look forward to see what happens tomorrow.
