Through Tyler's tragic death from a drug overdose we hope to help young people realize the dangers of alcohol and drugs so that they, and their families, never have to experience the pain, tragedy and loneliness that accompany addiction. atTAcK addiction meetings are held at the atTAcK addiction Resource Center (210 Peoples Plaza, Newark) on the second Tuesday of each month. Everyone is welcome! We are an "action group" striving to make a change in our community, and beyond. Join us!

Thank you to the Delaware House for passing Senate Bill 249, which establishes a regulatory framework for substance use harm reduction programs and decriminalizes possession of paraphernalia, while retaining prohibitions for paraphernalia used in the manufacturing or distribution of drugs. The legislation now goes to Governor Meyer for his signature.

atTAcK addiction joins other nonprofits in the substance use disorder landscape in standing ready to work alongside state leaders, community organizations, health care providers, and law enforcement to ensure this framework is implemented thoughtfully, transparently, and effectively.

Our mission is simple yet poignant: The first thing is to save the life. Where there is life, there is hope.
