The American Bully breed has been rising on a strong incline recently due to it's lack of drive/energy which allows easier ownership but also giving people the "image" of a hard dog. Unlike the APBT or American Working Red Dog, The bully is more of a designer dog that is not bred for working ability or function. To each their own preference for the APBT, Bully, or American Working Red Dog. This is pure passion for us and that is what separates us from most breeders. Here at DRP, we are breeding for HEALTH 1st, SOUND TEMPERAMENT, INTELLIGENCE, APTITUDE, PREY DRIVE, DEFENSIVE DRIVE, STRONG NERVE, HEAVY MUSCLE, SOUND STRUCTURE, CONFIDENCE, STRONG WIND, ATHLETICISM, WORKING ABILITY, VERSITILITY, AND CONSISTENCY. We breed for working-Sport dogs and family companions. Dogs that are affectionate but also possess a sensitive on and off switch for protecting their loved ones. Our current breedings are bred for 17" - 20" height, girthy, compact, muscular structure, athletic 50-80lbs eye candy dogs that are capable of hunting, Personal Protection, Drug Sniffing, weight pulling, dock diving, and just about any working task they are asked to perform. Colors will always be shades of Red, Red/White, occasional white dogs and chocolate dogs.
