Urban Issues Institute

Urban Issues Institute presents an International Women's Day Event "What About Our Daughters in the LGBT Community?" Essex County College Smith Hall March 30, 2010 from 5-9PM. There will also be a Vendor's Market, a partial viewing of "Dreams Deferred, The Sakia Gunn Story" and a Panel Discussion.

There will be a non-profit expo before the Town Hall. Topics to be discussed by panelists include Community Policing, Sub-Prime Lending, Prisoner Re-Entry, and Water Privatization in Newark. Come and let YOUR voice be heard January 28, 2010 at 6pm
