Mosaic in Delaware

Yesterday we celebrated One Mosaic Day! July 1st is a day where we take the opportunity to celebrate Mosaic's 12 state network, built around our mission to empower people through personal services. Each one of us is important to accomplish that mission no matter what. We are ONE Mosaic. We all belong and are a piece of the puzzle that creates this beautiful Mosaic.

Yesterday Delaware celebrated with a delicious taco truck, refreshing and creative drinks, fun music, and games! Thank you to all who participated and came out! Thank you do all that you do to make Mosaic great!

Twenty-seven years ago today, the United States Supreme Court affirmed in the landmark Olmstead decision that people with intellectual and developmental disabilities belong in their communities—not isolated in unsafe institutions. Olmstead was not the end of the fight for people’s rights, but was one step in a social movement to protect the rights of people with disabilities. A movement that Mosaic has been a part of for over 113 years.
