See them on the first night of ! Branded Silk () is an all black trio that plays fast and loose, using organic connections to build a world. Don’t worry if you’re scratching your head from all the improv-speak. What you need to know is they’re funny, fast, and ready to throw down at the Newark Improv Festival!

of : Isaac Jimenez is an improviser, comedian and designer born and raised in Elizabeth, NJ. He recieved his B.A. from Rutgers University-Newark and there led the college’s improv team Improv Technicians. He has studied at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, Magnet Theater, and has performed across the region at the Del Close Marathon, SteelStacks Improv Festival, Hartford Improv Festival, the College Improv Tournament, among many others. He also performs sketch comedy and makes music under the pseudonym “Lil Caca.” He’s taught improv for four years to college students, teachers, and now with Newark Improv, and has produced the Newark Improv Festival for four years now.
