Our Delaware Palliative program is the first organization in Delaware to receive Joint Commission Certification. Since 1982, Delaware Hospice has been to provide quality care and comfort to its patients and families and to serve as a trusted community partner in end-of-life education and support. The Delaware Hospice team of healthcare professionals and certified volunteers enhance the quality of
life with a focus on quality medical care, pain and symptom management, and emotional and spiritual support. Delaware Hospice is the leading nonprofit hospice agency in Delaware and Pennsylvania and proudly holds accreditation by the Joint Commission. As a nonprofit organization, Delaware Hospice offers several programs to the community at no or little charge, including:
*New Hope for grieving children and teens;
*Delaware Transitions for seriously ill individuals who are not medically eligible for hospice or palliative care; and
*Grief Support Groups, which are open to anyone who is coping with loss.
