The Rutgers Infectious Disease Practice, located at University Hospital in Newark NJ, was established in 1989 to provide evaluation, management and treatment for patients diagnosed with infectious diseases including hepatitis infections (B and C), HIV, sexually transmitted diseases (STD’s) transplant or surgery related infections, and overseas acquired parasitic or malarial infections as well as other infectious diseases.
