Hitting a baseball or softball is one of the hardest things in all of sports.

This is a professional athlete… getting paid millions… with unlimited resources, hitting coaches, video breakdown, analytics, recovery staff, and thousands of reps, and he still went 0-32.

Now imagine being 8–18 years old.

You add screaming from the stands:
“Swing earlier!”
“Hands back!”
“Elbow up!”
“Step in the bucket!”
“Don’t pull off!”

It doesn’t help.

When they step into the box, that’s the time to compete… not think about 15 different voices.

The work happens in at home on a tee getting quality reps building muscle memory.
The box is for trusting it and letting it rip.

Sometimes the best thing a young hitter can hear from the stands is nothing at all.

Ask yourself:

• Did I swing at MY pitch?
• Did I miss a mistake?
• Did I chase?
• Did I compete with 2 strikes?
• Did I make an adjustment?

Most hitters don’t fail because of talent…
They fail because they don’t EXECUTE.
