Opened in 1907, the two-story, Classical Revival-style building retains its original fireplaces, oak paneling, alcoves and wooden benches, along with the warm charm that has welcomed patrons for more than one hundred years.

You are invited to our New Member meeting this upcoming Sat the 27th at the Macon Library! Since 2017 we have been a place of community and support for the Macon Branch of the Brooklyn Public Library. From our annual Masquerade on Macon to our Mom-a-Thon, Father’s Day Kick Back, Diversity in Children’s Book Fairs, Podcast, Book Talks…we are a place where long time residents can connect with new comers and build bridges! All ages are welcome! Refreshments donated from local restaurants will be served! 2-4 at 361 Lewis Ave!
