Getting Out and Staying Out - GOSO

We are excited to share that Getting Out and Staying Out and Trinity Church NYC are proud to join together to invest in building safer communities. As part of Trinity's $19.5 million commitment to area nonprofits, GOSO was awarded $400,000 to partner with people impacted by incarceration on a journey of education, employment, and emotional well-being — supporting a culture of nonviolence across New York City. This continued investment will strengthen GOSO's programming for more than 1,500 young New Yorkers ages 16–24 in East Harlem.

GOSO's Action Board, a group of dedicated emerging professionals, is hosting a silent auction in support of the everyday critical services that GOSO provides to the young people of New York. We invite you, our GOSO community, to join us and bid on any items that catch your eye! From a private suite at a Yankees game, to a 4-night stay in Costa Rica, to a full-on Survivor-themed gathering, there's something for everyone. All proceeds go directly to our programming. It's that time of year! We gathered to celebrate the incredible milestones our participants have worked so hard to achieve, from passing their GED to securing meaningful employment. We were honored to welcome the legendary Felipe Luciano as our 2026 Milestone Ceremony keynote speaker. As a political activist and community leader, his words left a lasting impression on everyone in the room.
