The East Brooklyn Business Improvement District (EBBID) is a not-for-profit, tax-exempt organization formed in 1983 by property owners, businesses, and other interested groups in this community. The East Brooklyn Business Improvement District (EBBID) is a 40-block area in East New York, Brooklyn that is bordered by Powell Street to the West, Atlantic Avenue to the North, Pennsylvania Avenue to the East, and Sutter Avenue to the South.

East Brooklyn BID Supports Local Student Scholars
Congratulations to Kaleb Mentor, a Brooklyn College Academy graduate and Reid Park Rock resident, who will be attending Morgan State University this fall.
The East Brooklyn BID is proud to support Kaleb with a $500 scholarship toward his academic studies.
We are also proud to recognize Bryce Ritter, who will receive a $350 scholarship and will be attending Rochester Institute of Technology.
Additional student scholars receiving support will be attending Howard University, Syracuse University, and the University at Buffalo.
Congratulations to all of this year’s student scholars.

The MTA is continuing work on the Interborough Express, a proposed rapid transit project that would connect underserved areas of Brooklyn and Queens.
As the project moves through the design phase, the MTA is seeking public input to help shape the future of the IBX.
