🎉Shaun Pinkston is the first African American to be elected as a Board Director of CCIM-IL. CCIM is the Certified Commercial Investment Manager, and it is the highest NAR designation for Commercial practitioners.

As a result of having a minority seated at the table, their 1st Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) committee was formed, and their 1st Mentorship Program for Commercial Real Estate at the local level was developed.

“If minorities cannot see themselves in a place or position, they're less likely to apply. You cannot be what you cannot see. Be the example, and the landscape of a world with fewer minorities representing the unique needs of minorities will begin to change!” - Shaun Pinkston.
