Project SAFE of NYU Langone Family Health Centers has been providing teen leadership and HIV peer education programming since 1989 at the Project Reach Youth site in Brooklyn. Today, December 1st, 2023 is the 35th World AIDS Day.
In 1991 ACT UP activists hung a banner that says "One AIDS death every 8 minutes" over the Harlem-Hudson-New Haven lines arrival and departure board in Grand Central Terminal, New York City.
In 2023, JVP in similar fashion, hung up a banner that says “Never again for anyone”. Refusing to allow genocide be carried out in their names, with our tax dollars.
“The lives of Palestinians and Israelis are intertwined, and safety can only come from equality, justice, and freedom for all.”
In our unyielding quest for justice, we stand united for healthcare, AIDS awareness, abortion rights, reproductive justice, housing, food security and gender-affirming care.
The fight for a compassionate and equitable world won't stop. We declare loud and clear: FUND HEALTHCARE NOT WARFARE! Every life, every choice, every person deserves dignity. We press forward, unwavering, toward a future where universal care and love triumphs over all ❤️
