Prep for Prep

Preparing students for the future means connecting them with organizations that are redefining what career development can look like.

Last week, Prep for Prep students visited Repurpose , an organization that transforms luxury resale into a platform for opportunity. By combining fashion with career readiness, mentorship, and personal development, Repurpose empowers NYC youth to build the skills, confidence, and connections they need to succeed. Through The RENEW Program, participants gain hands-on experience and professional development while exploring careers in fashion and related industries. We’re especially proud that two Prep for Prep students are currently participating in the program.

During their visit to Repurpose’s NYC showroom, students toured the space, learned from members of the Repurpose team, explored the intersection of fashion, sustainability, and social impact, and took part in a Q&A and networking session. The experience offered an inside look at how purpose-driven organizations are creating innovative pathways into the fashion industry.
