This project is an act of defiance and a testament to the power of trans joy, resilience, and community. By reclaiming the narrative, we hope they serve as a reminder for younger LGBTQ+ generations that aging doesn't just mean surviving—it means thriving!

Funded by the New York Community Trust grant program, each profile explores the elders’ chosen families, daily routines, and stories of creative reinvention. Featuring the stunning work of photographer Anja Matthes, the project profiles:
