20 years ago I made my first hire in pharma advertising at FCB Healthcare in SF, promoting an SAE to Account Sup in her new role. I didn't have a clue what HCP or DTC meant but somehow made the match. The person I hired was so incredibly smart and lovely it made me feel that if this was the type of clients I'd be working with, I’d give it a go and try to learn this industry.

Two decades later (ouch!), my first hire in this business now runs her own agency in NYC and just hired two people from Taylored Search to join her team. I don't know if I'm just feeling nostalgic and/or overly sentimental, but I feel like I've come full circle.

I'd like to thank you Vjosa Mujko for being a wonderful "candidate" back in the day and such an amazing person overall. I'm not sure I'd be here if it weren't for you and I'm forever grateful to have met you. Here's to the next 20 years - cheers! 🥂
