Introducing our Tales of the Cocktail 2026 team - Gráinne, Aidan, Damon, and Neha.

Later this month, we’re heading to New Orleans for two events. Up first, we’re partnering with Jameson on July 22nd at 900 Camp Street.

Next, Irish House returns to 411 Bourbon Street on July 23rd - a gathering of the world’s best Irish bars, in partnership with Ireland’s finest brands, all in celebration of the Emerald Isle.

And no, we’re not talking green beer and leprechauns. We mean award-winning venues, world-class bartenders, and real Irish hospitality from across the globe - including us.

So if you're in The Big Easy, come say hello, pull up a stool, and have a drink with us. That's what we're there for.

Sure, America's celebrating 250 years this month, but down in Texas, we're marking two years of The Dead Rabbit Austin.

On July 4th, 2024, we opened the doors at 204 East Sixth Street - 5,000 square feet filled with 461 pieces of Irish art, lighting made in County Monaghan, custom stools crafted in Ballinhassig, playlists curated in County Derry, and countless other touches from home.

And all of that is well and good, but a bar is only ever bricks and mortar until it’s filled with people.

As with any new venture, there've been bumps along the way - challenges both expected and unforeseen, lessons learned, and plenty of growth. Because when you're building 100-year bars, you don't fear change - you embrace it.

We're thankful to every guest who's walked through our doors - regulars, first-timers, locals, and out-of-towners alike - but most of all, we're grateful to our team, who make these four walls feel like home, every single day.

Two years down. Ninety-eight to go - happy birthday, The Dead Rabbit Austin.

As Jake so eloquently puts it, it's been hot as f*ck. So we're keeping the AC on full blast and drinking something suitably refreshing.

Created by Kaitlyn, this Daisy-style sipper is light, vibrant, and thirst-quenching, built around the queen of fruits.

Mangosteen brings soft tropical sweetness with citrusy, peach-like notes, lifted by an apricot and thyme tincture. A touch of falernum adds spice and body, while Peychaud's bitters tie everything together.

Exactly what you want when it’s balmy… albeit with an umbrella in your bag, just incase.

We’re somehow already halfway through the year, so naturally, we’ve been arguing over our favorite Irish albums of 2026.

January kicked things off with Ailbhe Reddy’s Kiss Big, alongside brilliant releases from Ye Vagabonds and Dani Larkin. February gave us Cardinals’ long-awaited debut, plus stellar albums from Big Sleep and Rosie Carney.

March might just be the month to beat. Joshua Burnside, Foy Vance, and Chalk all dropped records that couldn’t sound more different, yet every one of them is in the Album of the Year conversation. (And yes, all three have played The Dead Rabbit in the last year. Coincidence? We think not.) Throw in Pull Like a Dog from our pals The Scratch and Curtisy releasing his third album in three years, and it was a serious month for Irish music.

The momentum hasn’t slowed either. In April and May, Dermot Kennedy, David Kitt, Glen Hansard, Mick Flannery, and Kneecap all delivered new records, while June's soundtrack has come courtesy of Loah, Dea Matrona, and HAVVK.

Safe to say Irish music's had a very good year so far. Listen to our round-up now, at the link below.
