We’re here to help them build confidence this summer!

✔️ Fun 20-minute sessions, 2–3 times per week

The NAEP Report Card is In—And We Should Be Concerned

📢 Our kids are struggling to read, and the numbers prove it.

The latest NAEP Report Card shows that reading scores are at their lowest levels in decades:

📉 Only 31% of fourth graders in New York are reading at or above proficiency.
📉 Many children who were already struggling before the pandemic have fallen even further behind.
📉 Black and Brown students continue to face systemic barriers to literacy, with little improvement over the past 20 years.

This is bigger than school—reading is a lifelong skill that shapes a child’s future. But for too many families, the cycle of low literacy continues because parents didn’t get the support they needed either.

🛑 This isn’t just a school issue. It’s a community issue.
