This Pride Month, we are proud to celebrate the strength, diversity, and resilience of the LGBTQ+ community and reaffirm our commitment to creating communities where everyone feels safe, supported, and at home. 🌈

Thank you to Brenna from Food Bank For New York City for leading another informative Nutrition Workshop!

During this hands-on session, participants learned how to read and understand nutrition labels, including serving sizes and key information to look for when purchasing packaged foods. Brenna also demonstrated how to make a nutritious quinoa black bean salad, which participants had the opportunity to sample.

To help put these lessons into practice at home, attendees left with a bag of fresh fruits, vegetables, and olive oil. 🍎🥕🫒
