The Cost Caps
The FIA is set to implement a new standard cost capacity for F1 teams and will be provided by its official FIA document. The Cost Caps now are set at $175 million for a year. For context, the big teams spend an average of $312 million.

The new cap will not cover driver salaries and marketing budgets. This rule is aimed at providing an almost level playing field for the smaller teams.
