New official post from Earth 2 “Server issues”

UPDATE - Dear Earth 2 Users. I am just writing this to let you know we're still here, I'm still here and we're still working hard on some improvements for the present Earth 2 servers. We have one team working on a new scaling system, one team working refactoring LIT (Land Income Tax) distribution and one team working on improvements to our current servers until the new scaling system is ready.

We are trying to roll out updates to the current servers while they are being smashed with traffic, I am not sure how people are doing it, but we are still receiving multiple new purchases per minute throughout the whole day, I cannot even load the website! I have heard of people sitting patiently for 15 minutes+ to buy a piece of land .. it's incredible, but we don't want you to suffer with that type of experience/delay and we have been working very hard to improve these servers. We WILL let you all know when Income Tax is processed so please try not to sit on the website refreshing all day! Additionally, if you are scraping our website for data regularly please if you could cease for a couple of days that would be appreciated!

Our game dev team are also working really long hours to roll out details of Earth 2's next phase and we still have the video to release displaying the Earth 2 terrain system. We are holding off on the release of these until the servers are 100% ready to go! Thomas has been amazing, handling so many issues every day but remember to email issues to [email protected] and we WILL get to them, it may take some days but we will resolve whatever issue you're having. Thanks to Dillon too for helping out with handling customer enquiries and keeping us informed!

Please remember our servers are stressed so if you still want to buy land please be very patient and wait for the callback to complete on the web page, it will, it just might take some time especially when the website is slow. If you have a duplicate payment or didn't receive land from purchasing, please contact us so we can fix that for you, remember the web servers are slow AND there are still hundreds of transactions taking place per minute on those slow servers so patience is key if you'd like to keep using the website throughout this period. We are reluctant to rest the site for a few days because people may panic, so please minimise use on the website where possible.

Well just a short update to reassure everyone we're here and still working hard, I have just worked a 24hr shift and I will have a few more hours work to go. Thank you very much for your patience!
