We sat down with cousin Shaquille Frederick (okay fine, it was a Zoom), founder of apparel brand E Pluribus Unum and the designer behind the Brooklyn Nets’ HBCU capsule collection, only available 3/31 at Barclays. The range is crazy: Howard alum, mechanical engineer, vintage lover, former alto saxophonist, Kappa, biker-culture inspo enthusiast, future swimwear designer, and now someone having a very full-circle moment, with his work featured inside Barclays after once watching it get built while starting his locs back in 2011.
