This weekend, our Off The Block kids traded concrete for cornfieldsâand for many, it was their first time ever leaving the block.
They laughed, they picked pumpkins straight from the vine, and they experienced something newâsomething joyful, simple, and unforgettable.
These moments matter.
These trips matter.
Because experiential learning opens minds, builds confidence, and connects kids to a world beyond their doorstep.

đ Exciting News! đ Nearly 100 kindergarten, first, and second graders from NYCHAâs Taft Houses are one step closer to their futures! Thanks to Off The Block and the Candice and Noah Feinberg Charitable Foundation, and the Taft Residents Association, these students received $100 each in their NYC Scholarship Accounts at Cooke School and Institute in Harlem.
This $8,000 Community Scholarship, supported by additional funds from NYC Kids RISE, is creating opportunities for higher education, technical training, and personal growth. Off The Block is dedicated to empowering the children of Taft Houses by investing in their education and aspirations.
