Continuing in that tradition, on December 30, 2012, Modern Restaurant & Pizzeria served its last meal at 12 Russell Avenue, and opened its doors at its new location, 310 Huguenot Street. A year and a half in the making, the new Modern Restaurant and Lounge features a stunning yet simple décor, complete with a lounge area, a bar that seats 20, custom hand-blown glass lighting, a catering room that holds parties up to 85 people, and a convenient pick-up and take-out location on its own street (Westchester Place).
