Holy Trinity New Rochelle Dance Troupe

This past weekend (Friday through Sunday), we had the joy of participating in a wonderful Greek American Folklore Society event celebrating Greek culture and community.

Holy Trinity Dance Troupe of New Rochelle was proudly represented—both in the seminar sessions and through our live performances in Athens Square in Astoria, New York.

For those who may not know, Athens Square is a special place in the heart of Astoria, a neighborhood long known as one of the most vibrant Greek communities outside of Greece. The square itself was created as a symbol of the deep cultural and historical ties between Greece and New York, making it a perfect setting for such a meaningful celebration.

Our dance troupe brought that spirit to life, performing traditional dances from the beautiful island of Kythira. Their energy, pride, and connection to heritage were truly inspiring to witness.
