So, the holidays are over and started sifting through all the old things. Found this carving my dad made twenty five years ago. It was the beginning of a series. He vowed to recreate the headboard my grandfather “nonno” made for himself and “nonna” in Italy in the fourties. Here’s what I’m thinking, i know dad made the other carvings. I’m going to dig them up and finally put together the bed. It would def make my father feel great, and now me too. To be continued….. .

This remodel’s new kitchen is looking great. Waiting for counters to arrive. Wait until you see! I love the openness of the room. Not easy to keep the simple open look, especially in an older home.
